Boys Golf Roundup: West Branch Gets Back on Track With Dual Win Over Tipton

Just two days after Tipton got the best of West Branch on its home course at its own Tiger Invitational the Bears returned the favor with a dual win on Monday.
Brady Knoop fired a 36 to earn medalist honors and Dylan Countryman was a stroke back in runner-up position as West Branch fired a 157 to edge Tipton in a River Valley Conference South Division dual meet at Tipton Golf and Country Club.
Will Bridges added a 41 and Gage Gingerich shot a 43 for West Branch which finished third behind Solon and Tipton at the rain-shortened Tiger Invitational on Friday.
Brady Connor fired a 39 to lead Tipton while Bob Ryan and Tristin Sorgenfrey each shot a 40 as the Tigers finished with a 161.
