Clear Creek Amana won a pair of relays and had runner-up finishes in four other events on its way to finishing fourth in a balanced field at the Mid-Prairie Invitational on Tuesday in Wellman.

The Clippers won the distance medley and 4×100 relays and finished with 76 team points nine points behind Mediapolis and Mid-Prairie which finished deadlocked with 85 points apiece.

Williamsburg was third with 82 points followed by Clear Creek Amana, Oskaloosa with 56 and West Branch with 47.5.

The Clear Creek Amana distance medley team of Ben Swails, Gage Freeman, Keyan Gisleson and Gavin Zillyette won in a time of 3:38.85.

Clear Creek Amana also got a win in the 4×100 relay as Harrison Rosenberg, Swails, Nick Johnson and Freeman clocked a 43.62.

The Clippers were runner-up in the shuttle hurdle, 4×200 and 4×400 relays and Cale Berry finished runner-up in the 400 hurdles.

West Branch got a runner-up finish from Cash Woody in the high jump and third-place finishes from Oliver Palmer in the 800, Kinnick Boelk in the 400, Zach Walker in the 200 and Andy Henson in the 100.
