Christian Janis and Clayton Bopp each earned individual titles as West High finished fourth as a team at the John Ask Relays on Tuesday at Kingston Stadium in Cedar Rapids.

Janis won the 100 and Bopp earned the title in the 400 hurdles helping the Trojans rack up 109.5 points in their fourth-place finish.

Cedar Rapids Kennedy won the team title with 144 points followed by Linn-Mar with 135.5 and Cedar Rapids Prairie with 121.

West High finished first and second in the 100 with Janis winning in 11.44 and teammate Izaiah Loveless finishing runner-up in 11.6.

Bopp won the 400 hurdles in 1:00.07 and was sixth in the 110 hurdles.

The West High 4×800 relay team of Alex McKane, Seth Cheney, Mason Van Waning and Moustafa Tie won in 8:08.59.

West High also got a runner-up finish from Kylin Crittenden in the long jump and Daniel Robinson in the high jump.

The Liberty High shuttle hurdle relay team of Maxwell Thompson, Griffin Kraft, Henry Maassen and Eric Lucas won in 1:02.2 as the Lighting finished eighth with 19 points.
