Boys Golf Roundup: Bridges Leads West Branch to Team Title at Wildcat Invitational

Led by individual medalist Will Bridges West Branch had three golfers finish in the top five while winning the team title at the Wildcat Invitational on Tuesday at Wahkonsa Golf Course in Durant.
Bridges shot a 75 to edge Tipton senior Bob Ryan by one stroke for the individual title and Brady Knoop and Dylan Countryman each posted top-five finishes as West Branch carded a 310 as a team.
Tipton was runner-up with a 331 followed by Wilton with a 365, West Liberty with a 369 and host Durant with a 380.
Regina got a fourth-place finish from Mikey Takacs with a 77 and finished sixth with a 383.
Bridges posted a 37 on the first nine and a 38 on the back on his way to a first-place finish.
Knoop was third with a 77 while Countryman fired a 79 to finish in fifth place.
Logan Highly also shot a 79 to finish seventh for the Bears.
