Class 1A No. 14 Solon extended its winning streak to four with a 1-0 victory over Dyersville Beckman on Thursday in a WAMAC East Division match at Spartan Stadium in Solon.

Solon made a first-half goal by junior standout Morgan Link stand up thanks to junior Alex Paisley posting a shutout in goal as Solon improved to 5-1 on the season and 4-0 in WAMAC play.

The win was the fourth consecutive shutout for Solon which has outscored opponents 18-0 during its current winning streak and has outscored WAMAC opponents 24-0 on the season.

Dyersville Beckman dropped to 2-2 on the season and in conference play with the loss.

Link scored her team-leading 11^th goal of the season in the first half and Paisley made a pair of saves in goal to help keep the early lead intact.
