Class 2A No. 13 Clear Creek Amana remained unbeaten on the season with a 4-1 win over Marion on Monday in meeting of WAMAC Conference cross-divisional opponents in Marion.

Senior Madeline Shade and sophomore Halle Bormann each had a pair of goals as Clear Creek Amana improved to 2-0 on the season.

Marino dropped to 0-4 with the loss.

Avery Sexton and Emma Oberg combined for four saves in goal while each playing a half.

Clear Creek Amana returns to action Tuesday when it travels to Van Horne to take on Benton Community (2-3) in a WAMAC West Division match.
