Boys Golf Roundup: Depth Leads West Branch To Team Title at Golden Hawk Invitational

West Branch used its depth to dominate the field on its way to the team title on Tuesday at the Golden Hawk Invitational at the Kalona Golf Course.
The Bears had five players in the top nine and posted a team score of 323 to finish 49 strokes in front of runner-up Washington.
West Liberty was third with a 373 followed by Wilton with a 379 and Mount Vernon with a 388.
Regina was sixth with a 390 led by junior Mikey Takacs who fired a 77 to earn medalist honors.
West Branch was led by Brady Knoop who shot a 77 and Will Bridges who carded an 80.
Dylan Countryman was sixth with an 81 while Gage Gingerich was eighth with an 85 and Logan Highly was ninth with an 87.
Freshman Noah Clark shot a 96 for Regina.
