Cedar Rapids Kennedy scored a pair of second-half goals to rally past Class 2A No. 15 Liberty High in a non-conference contest between Mississippi Valley Conference opponents on Friday in North Liberty.

Senior Grace Heddens gave Liberty High a 1-0 lead with a goal in the first half but the Cougars scored twice in the final 40 minutes to secure the win.

Liberty High dropped to 2-1 with the loss while Cedar Rapids Kennedy improved to 1-2.
