Regina fell to Union 2-1 in the season opener for both teams on Monday in LaPorte City.

The Knights snapped a 1-1 halftime tie with a goal in the second half while improving to 1-0 on the season.

Sophomore Alli Clark had the goal for Regina off an assist from junior Madelyn Greve.

Junior keeper Courtney Kessler had five saves for the Regals.

Sophomore Molly Grote and freshman Avery Knoop each had goals for Union.
