West High, Liberty High and City High all had players land on the first or second teams when the Mississippi Valley Conference released its all-division boys basketball squads on Wednesday.

West High senior Pete Moe and Liberty High junior Da’Shon Fisher highlighted the area selections each earning first-team all-division status.

City High senior Jamari Newson and West High sophomore Jacob Koch each earned second team honors.

Moe was a unanimous first-team pick in the Valley Division after leading West High with 21.7 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.1 blocked shots per game.

The 21.7 points per game for Moe were the most for any player in the Valley Division and ranked second among all MVC players this season behind only Cedar Falls senior Trey Campbell who averaged 24.1 points per game.

Koch earned second-team all-Valley Division honors after averaging 8.9 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game in his first varsity season.

The sophomore guard shot 42 percent from three-point range while hitting a team-high 41 three-pointers.

Freshman Jack McCaffery and sophomore Kareem Earl were each Valley Division honorable mention selections for West High.

Fisher was a first-team selection in the Mississippi Division after leading Liberty High in scoring at 17.4 points per game.

Fisher also averaged 3.6 points, 2.1 assists and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 53 percent from the floor.

Junior Luke Ramsey and senior Griffin Kraft were each honorable mention picks for Liberty High.

Newson earned second team all-Mississippi Division honors for City High after leading the Little Hawks in scoring (13.8), rebounds (6.5), assists (3.9) and steals (2.6).

Seniors Jovan Harris and Darren Richardson each earned honorable mention honors for City High.
