Clear Creek Amana’s Schrepfer and Swails, Solon’s Pusteoska Earn First-team WAMAC All-Division Honors

Clear Creek Amana and Solon each had their seasons end on Monday evening one win shy of a state tournament appearance.
On Tuesday both teams had players earn first-team all-division honors when the WAMAC Conference released its postseason honors.
Clear Creek Amana seniors Kyle Schrepfer and Ben Swails and Solon senior Kinnick Pusteoska were all unanimous all-division selections.
Schrepfer and Swails were each unanimous first-team picks in the West Division after leading Clear Creek Amana to a 16-8 record.
Swails led Clear Creek Amana in scoring with 17.6 points per game and rebounding with 4.9 rebounds.
The senior guard also averaged 1.6 steals and 1.5 assists per game and shot 52 percent from the floor including 42 percent from three-point range.
Schrepfer averaged 13.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and a team-high 1.9 steals per game.
Senior Grant Kruse was a second-team pick in the West Division for the Clippers average averaging 9.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and a team-high 2.5 assists per game.
Seniors Harrison Rosenberg and Gage Freeman were each honorable mention selections for Clear Creek Amana.
Pusteoska was a unanimous first-team pick in the East Division after helping Solon to a 15-10 mark this season and a second consecutive substate final appearance.
The senior forward averaged 8.4 points and led the Spartans with 7 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.
Senior Jacob Timmons was a second-team all-East Division pick after averaging 6.4 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.
Sophomore Jake Benzing and senior Jake Quillin each earned East Division honorable mention honors for Solon.
