Class 4A tenth-ranked Clear Creek Amana fell to No. 7 Central DeWitt 53-44 on Tuesday in the 4A, Region 3 title game in DeWitt.

The win was the ninth straight for Central DeWitt (19-4) and sends the Sabers back to the 4A state tournament for the second consecutive season and fifth time in program history.

Clear Creek Amana had a three-game winning streak snapped with the loss and closes the season 16-7.
