Class 5A ninth-ranked West High stretched its winning streak to five with a 74-44 win over Waterloo East on Thursday in a Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Division contest in Waterloo.

West High improved to 17-3 with the win while Waterloo East dropped to 3-17.

Meena Tate led all scorers with 21 points while Anna Prouty added 17 for West High.

Melae’ Lacy had nine points and Carolyn Pierce and Keiko Ono-Fullard each had seven as nine different West High players scored in the game.,

Brooklyn Love had 18 points and Key’Lajaha Jefferson-Putman added 12 for Waterloo East.
