West High will enter the postseason riding a six-game winning streak.

Class 5A No. 9 West High closed the regular season with a 63-52 win over Cedar Rapids Kennedy on Friday in Iowa City.

The Trojans claimed a share of the Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Division title and improved to 18-3 on the season with its sixth consecutive win to close the regular season.

Meena Tate had a game-high 26 points to lead West High while Carolyn Pierce added nine for the Trojans.

Anna Prouty had eight points and Keiko Ono-Fullard had seven for West High.

Kaliyah Sain had 21 points to lead Cedar Rapids Kennedy.
