No. 15 Pleasant Valley defeated City High 50-21 in the opening round of a Class 3A regional dual on Wednesday evening in Marion.

No. 5 Linn-Mar defeated Pleasant Valley 43-15 in the finals to advance to the state dual meet on February 16 at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.

Top-ranked Ben Kueter won by fall in :52 for City High while Ariel Collins, Ryan Ott and Cale Seaton all won by tech fall for the Little Hawks.

Seaton won a 26-10 tech fall over Caden Ervin at 126 pounds while Ott posted a 16-0 tech fall of Andrew Miller at 145 pounds.

Collins earned a 21-6 tech fall over Samuel Jones at 152 pounds.
