Class 5A No. 13 Liberty High fell to No. 15 Linn-Mar 57-41 in a Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division matchup in Marion on Tuesday.

Linn-Mar improved to 13-7 on the season with the win while Liberty High dropped to 11-9 with its third consecutive loss.

Jasmine Barney had eight points, five rebound and four steals to lead the Lightning while Ava Meyer had six points and nine rebounds.

Kennedy Daugherty had six points, five rebounds and two assists and Avery Gaudet had six points and two rebounds.

Bella Tafolla and Madeline Casey each added five points for Liberty High.

Taylor Brunson had a game-high 15 points to lead Linn-Mar and Zoe Kennedy had 10 points, 10 rebounds and five assists for the Lions.
