Class 2A seventh-ranked Regina had a seven-game winning streak snapped with a 44-38 loss to Class 3A No. 8 West Liberty on Friday in a River Valley Conference South Division showdown in Iowa City.

Regina dropped to 16-4 on the season and 16-2 in RVC play while West Liberty moved to 17-4 and 15-3 in conference play.

The Regals can clinch an outright South Division title on Tuesday when it hosts West Branch in the regular season finale.

Alli Dillon and Morgan Miller each had 13 points to lead Regina.
