Boys Basketball Roundup: Solon Downs Maquoketa For Third Consecutive Win

Solon extended its winning streak to three with a 53-44 win over Maquoketa on Friday in a WAMAC East Division matchup in Solon.
The Spartans improved to 12-7 on the season and 10-5 in WAMAC play and avenged a 65-59 loss to the Cardinals in Maquoketa on January 11.
Maquoketa dropped to 6-13 and 5-9 in conference play with the loss.
Jacob Timmons led Solon with 14 points while Oaken Foster and Cayden Knipper each had eight for the Spartans.
Brady Mullen had six points and Jake Quillin five for Solon.
Kasey Coakley had 12 points, Ethan Combs 11 and Carter Meyer 10 for the Cardinals.
