Class 5A ninth-ranked West High secured its second win of the week with a 37-29 road win over Marion in a non-conference contest in Marion.

West High improved to 14-3 on the season with the win while Marion dropped to 11-8 with the loss.

Avery Vest had a game-high 10 points to lead West High while Lucy Wolf added seven and Meena Tate had six for West High.

Carolyn Pierce added five points for West High.

Madeline Pavelka had eight points and Ella Bockenstedt and Ava Attwood each had five for Marion.
