Regina took another step closer to an outright conference title on Friday.

Class 2A seventh-ranked Regina stretched its winning streak to six with a 43-21 win at Durant in a River Valley Conference South Division contest in Durant while strengthening its grip on the South Division race.

Regina improved to 15-3 on the season and 15-1 in RVC play and has a two-game lead with two games to play.

Durant dropped to 6-13 and 4-13 in conference play.

Grace Gaarde and Lily Simpson each had 10 points to lead Regina.

Alli Clark had eight points and Alli Dillon had seven for the Regals.
