Liberty High had a pair of individual champions and placed third at the Denny Christiansen Invite on Saturday in Anamosa.

Gabe Avalos and Elijah Terwilleger each posted first-place finishes as Liberty High rolled up 132 points.

Cedar Rapids Washington won the team title with 159 followed by Starmont with 133.

Avalos won the title at 120 pounds while Terwilleger claimed the 160-pound title.

Austin Franklin was runner-up at 132, Cole Kerns was runner-up and 170 and Vinny Lima was runner-up at 182 for the Lightning.

Christos Panos (106), Mason Karam (126), Jaxon Morris (138) and Gavin Benton (152) all finished third for Liberty High.
