Class 4A No. 15 Liberty High returned to the win column on Friday with a 51-47 victory over Cedar Rapids Prairie in a Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division contest in North Liberty.

Liberty High improved to 8-5 with the while Cedar Rapids Prairie dropped to 4-9 with the loss.

Jasmine Barney had a team-high 17 points, seven rebounds and four steals to lead the Lightning.

Brynlee Slockett and Avery Gaudet each had 12 points for Liberty High and Ava Meyer had six points and four rebounds for the Lightning.

Kennedy Daugherty had five steals and four rebounds for Liberty High.
