Class 3A seventh-ranked Clear Creek Amana fell to Independence 63-61 on Friday in a WAMAC West Division matchup in Tiffin.

Independence improved to 7-7 on the season and 4-7 in WAMC play while Clear Creek Amana dropped to 9-3 and 8-3 in conference games.

Kyle Schrepfer led Clear Creek Amana with 22 points, hitting six three-pointers.

Ben Swails had 19 points and six steals for the Clippers while Harrison Rosenberg and Grant Kruse each had six points.

Gage Freeman grabbed nine rebounds for Clear Creek Amana.
