West High fell to Dubuque Hempstead 45-25 in a Mississippi Valley Conference dual meet on Thursday in Dubuque.

Braden Doyle, Grant O’Dell, Hunter Garvin, Kael Scranton and Drake Davis all recorded wins for the Trojans on Thursday.

Doyle won a 6-3 decision at 113 pounds, O’Dell posted a major dec. at 145 pounds and top-ranked Garvin recorded a second-period fall at 152 pounds.

Scranton posted a pin at 160 and Davis added a win at 182.
