Girls Basketball Roundup: City High Keeps Rolling With Win Over Waterloo East

Class 2A second-ranked City High continued its unbeaten start to the season with a 67-34 win over Waterloo East on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference cross-divisional contest in Iowa City.
Kelsey Joens led three City High players in double figures with a game-high 22 points as the Little Hawks improved to 11-0 on the season.
Waterloo East dropped to 3-10 with the loss.
Eviyon Richardson had 16 points, Andie Westlake had 13 and Bella Cooley added eight for the Little Hawks.
Key’Lajaha Jefferson-Putman led Waterloo East with 10 points and Brooklyn Love added nine.
