West High defeated City High 111-59 in the annual cross-town swimming dual on Tuesday at Mercer Park Aquatic Center in Iowa City.

The Trojans won all three relay events and got individual titles from Kirk Brotherton, Holden Carter, Damon Conzemius and Max Gerke on its way to the dual win.

Brotherton won the 50 freestyle in a time of 21.38 while Carter took the 100 butterfly title in a time of 51.7.

Gerke won the 500 freestyle in 4:53.29 and Conzemius won the 100 freestyle in 49.94.

The West High team of Boyd Skelley, Jordan Christensen, Sam Ruelas and Brotherton won the 200 medley relay in 1:39.04 and Barrett Coffey, Carter, Conzemius and Brotherton won the 200 freestyle relay in 1:28.17.

Skelley, Christensen, Conzemius and Brotherton added a win in the 400 freestyle relay in 3:14.78.

City High was led by Joe Polyak who was the only two-event individual champion of the evening.

Polyak won the 200 freestyle in 1:46.07 and added a title in the 100 backstroke in 53.49.

Kento Yahashiri won the 100 breaststroke in 1:03.22 for City High.
