Girls Basketball Roundup: West High Downs No. 14 Cedar Falls for Second Straight MVC Road Win

West High earned its second road win over a Mississippi Valley Conference opponent this week with a 57-47 win at Class 5A No. 14 Cedar Falls on Saturday in a top-15 matchup rescheduled from Friday evening.
Meena Tate scored a game-high 25 points as seventh-ranked West High improved to 9-2 on the season.
Cedar Falls dropped to 7-5 with the loss.
Melae’ Lacy had eight points and Anna Prouty and Keiko Ono-Fullard each had seven points for the Trojans while Carolyn Pierce had six.
Sydney Remmert led three Cedar Falls players in double figures with 15.
