Boys Basketball Roundup: Solon Bounces Back With Road Win Over Mount Vernon

Solon got back on track with a 44-31 road win over Mount Vernon on Saturday in a rescheduled WAMAC East Division showdown in Mount Vernon.
The Spartans improved to 8-5 on the season and 6-4 in WAMAC play with the win while Mount Vernon dropped to 6-6 on the year and 5-4 in conference play.
Oaken Foster had a game-high 16 points to lead Solon while Gehrig Turner had nine points or the Spartans.
Jake Benzing and six points and Kinnick Pusteoska had five for Solon.
Evan Brase led Mount Vernon with nine points.
