Solon had a four-game winning streak stopped with a 53-52 loss to Maquoketa on Tuesday in a WAMAC East Division contest in Maquoketa.

Callie Levin had a game-high 27 points to lead Solon as the Spartans dropped to 7-6 on the season and 5-4 in WAMAC play.

Maquoketa improved to 4-8 on the year and 4-6 in conference play.

Elly Holubar had eight points and Ava Stebral added six for Solon.

Carley Davis led Maquoketa with 16 points while Jackie Miller added 14 for the Cardinals.
