Boys Basketball Roundup: Solon Has Five-Game Winning Streak Snapped in Maquoketa

Solon had a five-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday with a 65-59 loss to Maquoketa in a WAMAC East Division matchup in Maquoketa.
Tai Streets and Ethan Combs each had 19 points and Tye Hardin added 18 as Maquoketa improved to 5-6 on the season and 4-5 in WAMAC play.
Jake Benzing had 18 points to lead Solon as the Spartans dropped to 7-6 on the season and 5-4 in conference play.
Gehrig Turner had 11 points, Kinnick Pusteoska added nine and Oaken Foster had six for the Spartans.
