Liberty High put a halt to a two-game losing skid with a 51-48 win over Western Dubuque on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division contest in North Liberty.

Da’Shon Fisher had 17 points and four rebounds as Liberty High improved to 3-6 on the season.

Western Dubuque dropped to 3-6 with the loss.

Griffin Kraft had eight points and five rebounds, Graham Beckman had eight points and four rebounds and Ja’Quez Hall added eight points for the Lightning.

Luke Ramsey had five assists for the Lightning.
