Aidan Udell won an individual title and Christopher Waikel and Sam Aitchison each earned runner-up finishes to lead Regina to a fourth-place team finish at the Gary Curtis Invitational on Saturday at Highland High School.

Udell won the 170-pound title and Aitchison and Waikel were runner-up at 152 and 182 pounds respectively as Regina rolled up 120 points.

Alburnett won the team title with 172.5 while Wilton was runner-up with 159.5 and South Tama was third with 148.5.

West Branch had a trio of top-three finishers led by sophomore Logan Wright who was runner-up at 220 and finished 11^th with 82 points.

Class 1A second-ranked Udell improved to 18-0 on the season with a second-period pin of Wilton’s Kaden Shirk in the 170-pound title match.

Aitchison (17-2) fell to third-ranked Dominic Lopez of New London in the 152-pound championship match and sixth-ranked Josh Glendening of New London pinned Waikel in the 182-pound title match.

Will Aitchison, Ronan Poynton and Caden Shetler all placed fourth for Regina.

No. 11 ranked Wright (23-4) led West Branch with a runner-up finish falling to sixth-ranked Jonah Clark of WACO in the 220-pound title match.

Edwards (21-2) finished third at 113 pounds after a semifinal loss to Class 2A No. 11 ranked Aaron Boone of Washington.

Luke Guseman placed third at 126 pounds for West Branch while Auron Marsh was fourth at 152 and Dylan Olson was sixth at 120 pounds.
