Liberty High had 10 wrestlers finish in the top seven led by individual champion Vinny Lima and finished fifth in the team standings on Saturday at the Ottumwa Invitational.

Lima won the 195-pound title and the Lightning had three wrestlers finish third while racking up 155 points.

Host Ottumwa won the team title with 191.5 points while Albia was runner-up with 184.

Sigourney was third with 180.5 points followed by Kirksville (Missouri) with 172 and Liberty High.

Lima improved to 15-5 on the season winning the 195-pound title with a third-period pin of Tipton’s Jerry Havill.

Caden Yoerger finished third at 182, Elijah Terwilleger was third at 160 and Jackson Philipp wa third at 145 pounds.

Liberty High also got a fourth-place finish from Gavin Benton at 152 pounds while Gabe Frausto was fifth at 120, Jaxson Morris was fifth at 138 and Brendon Benton was sixth at 220.
