Ben Kueter won an individual title and Cale Seaton and Kael Kurtz each posted top-three finishes to lead City High to a 10^th place team finish at the Jack Mendenhall Invitational on Saturday in Ames.

Seaton finished runner-up and Kurtz was third as City High had five wrestlers finish in the top six in their weight class while finishing with 92.5 points.

Indianola won the team title with 161 points followed by Ankeny with 153.5, Fort Dodge with 137.5 and Papillion La-Vista (Nebraska) with 128.5.

Kueter won the 220-pound title with a 16-1 tech. fall victory over fourth-ranked Logan Huckfelt of Spencer in the title match.

The top-ranked 220-pounder in Class 3A, Kueter improved to 16-0 on the season with three wins on Saturday posting a pair of pins to reach the title match.

Seaton finished runner-up at 120-pounds falling to top-ranked and unbeaten Trever Anderson of Ankeny 3-2 in the title match.

Third-ranked Seaton had a pair of pins to reach the finals and pushed his season record to 20-2.

Kurtz finished third at 126 pounds going 3-1 with a loss to seventh-ranked Ankeny sophomore Ben Hansen in the semifinals.

Ryan Ott placed fifth for City High at 145 pounds while Jake Mitchell was sixth for the Little Hawks at 138 pounds.
