What a week for Regina.
The Regals post their second consecutive road win over a top-10 opponent in a span of four days on Friday with a 37-25 victory over Class 3A ninth-ranked West Liberty in a River Valley Conference South Division showdown in West Liberty.
Class 2A eighth-ranked Regina improved to 9-2 on the season and remained unbeaten at 9-0 in RVC play while West Liberty dropped to 7-3 on the season and 7-2 in conference play.
The win was the fourth straight for Regina and came after the Regals secured a 31-28 win at Cascade in its 2022 opener.
Regina broke open a tie game at the half, limiting the Comets to just eight second-half points.
Morgan Miller led Regina with nine points while Ali Clark had seven for the Regals and Hope and Lily Simpson each had six points.
