Liberty High defeated Cedar Rapids Washington 57-24 in a Mississippi Valley Conference wrestling dual on Thursday in Cedar Rapids.

The Lightning won 10 matches on Thursday with eight coming via fall.

Jaxon Morris, Philipp Jackson, Gavin Benton, Elijah Terwilleger, Cole Kerns, Ethan Armstrong, Vinny Lima and Brendon Benton all earned pins for Liberty High.

Mason Karns won by forfeit and Gabe Avalos earned a victory by decision for the Lightning.
