Class 3A ninth-ranked West Liberty outscored West Branch 30-16 in the second half to earn a 52-38 win over the Bears on Tuesday in a River Valley Conference South Division showdown in West Branch.

Class 2A ninth-ranked West Branch dropped to 7-2 on the season and in RVC play while West Liberty improved to 7-2 on the year and 7-1 in RVC play.

Delaynie Luneckas had 15 points, seven rebound and five assists to lead West Branch while August Palmer had 12 points and three rebounds.

Alyse Klinkkammer had four points and two assists and Kylie Pickett had three points, four rebounds and two assists.
