Clear Creek Amana had to sit on a loss for two weeks over the holiday break after falling to Williamsburg in its final game of 2021.

The Clippers got back on track on Tuesday.

Clear Creek Amana raced to a 40-27 halftime lead and rolled to 78-51 win over Benton Community in a WAMAC West Division contest in Van Horne.

Ben Swails made three three-pointers and finished with a game-high 26 points as Clear Creek Amana improved to 7-1 on the season and 6-1 in WAMAC play.

Benton Community dropped o 2-6 on the year and 2-5 in conference action.

Kyle Schrepfer had 15 points, six rebounds, four steals and three assists for the Clippers while Grant Kruse added eight points.
