Class 5A second-ranked City High remained unbeaten on the season with a 63-53 win over Cedar Rapids Kennedy on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference cross-divisional matchup in Iowa City.

City High improved to 7-0 on the season with the win while Cedar Rapids Kennedy dropped to 3-5.

Kelsey Joens led three City High players in double figures with 19 points while Eviyon Richardson had 18 points and Andy Westlake had 12.

Emmy McComas and Georgia Kimm each added six for the Little Hawks.

Kaliyah Sain had a game-high 26 points to lead Cedar Rapids Kennedy while Tori Knight added 11.
