Boys Basketball Roundup: Kerschen’s 26 Points Not Enough as Regina Falls to Northeast

Regina fell into a 13-point first-quarter hole and could never full recover in a 66-49 loss to Northeast on Friday in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional contest in Iowa City.
The Regals dropped to 2-5 on the season and 2-4 in RVC play while Northeast improved to 6-2 on the year and 5-2 in conference games.
Coltrae Kerschen went 6-of-13 from 3-point range and poured in a team-high 26 points to lead Regina while Michael Martin added 11 points and four rebounds for the Regals.
Carter Leick had six points and seen rebounds and Cameron Lehman had five points and three assists.
Carson Jensen had five rebounds and three assists and Grant Rustan had four rebounds and three assists.
