Solon had won four individual titles and cruised to the team title at the North Cedar Invitational on Saturday in Clarence.

Gage Marty, Lucas Kampman, Jordan Schmidt and Lawson Sinnwell all won titles for the Spartans as Solon claimed the team title by 69.5 points over New London.

The Spartans finished with 207.5 points while New London was runner-up and Belle Plaine was third with 119.

Marty improved to 11-0 on the season while winning the 285-pound title with a pin of Jacob Klosterman of Western Dubuque in the title match.

Kampman won a 4-0 decision over Amarreon Sykes of Waterloo West to win the title at 170 pounds and run his season record to 9-1.

Schmidt won a 9-2 over Shukuru Budederi of Cedar Rapids Jefferson in the 126-pound title match and Sinnwell pinned Belle Plaine’s Brayden Peterson in the second-period of the 120-pound championship.

Evan Burg added a runner-up finish at 106 pounds and Kyler Jessup was runner-up at 113 for the Spartans while Tyler Hancox was second at 195 and Landon Hummell runner-up at 220.
