Wrestling Roundup: Edwards Wins Title to Lead West Branch at Tri County Invite

Lincoln Edwards won the 113-pound title to help West Branch to a fifth-place team finish at the Tri County Invitational in Thornburg on Saturday.
Edwards pinned John McLaughlin of WACO in the first period of the 113-pound title match and headlined a group of seven Bears that finished in the top five.
Luke Guseman was runner-up at 126 pounds and Logan Wright was third at 220 pounds while Jaxson Kaalberg, Logan Keeler and Timmy Hosier were all fourth for West Branch.
Dylan Olson and Auron Marsh added fifth-place finishes.
Pleasantville won the team title with 172 points followed by Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont with 158, WACO with 147.5 and North Mahaska with 135.
West Branch was fifth with 124.
