West Branch held off Cascade late for a 44-40 win in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional matchup on Friday in West Branch.

The win was the second straight for West Branch and improved the Bears to 3-2 on the season while Cascade dropped to 0-4 with the loss.

Brady Knoop had 15 points and five rebounds to lead West Branch while Holden Arnaman had 11 points, five steals and four rebounds.

Andy Henson had eight points, six assists and five rebounds and Drake Berry had six points and three rebounds.
