Liberty High fell to Western Dubuque 55-18 on Thursday in a Mississippi Valley Conference dual meet in North Liberty.

Christos Panos, Gabe Avalos, Philipp Jackson and Vinny Lima all earned wins for the Lightning.

Panos posted a pin at 106 pounds while Avalos won a 9-2 decision at 126 pounds over Maddox Bries.

Jackson won a major decision at 145 pounds and Lima won by tech fall at 195.
