Class 5A seventh-ranked West High continued its red-hot start to the season with a 75-52 win over Western Dubuque on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference cross-divisional matchup in Epworth.

The Trojans improved to 3-0 on the season and 2-0 in MVC play with the win while Western Dubuque dropped to 2-3 on the season and 1-1 in MVC games.

Meena Tate had a game-high 18 points to lead West High while Emma Ingersoll-Weng added 15 points for the Trojans.

Carolyn Pierce and Keiko Ono-Fullard each had eight points for West High and Lucy Wolf added seven.

Kaitlyn Thole had 14 points and Karrington Asp had 12 for the Bobcats.
