Girls Basketball Roundup: West Branch Moves to 4-0 With Win at Tipton

West Branch used a big second quarter to break open a tie game on its way to a 44-32 win over Tipton on Tuesday in a River Valley Conference South Division matchup in Tipton.
Avery Schultes had a team-high 11 points as West Branch remained unbeaten on the season improving to 4-0 and 4-0 in RVC play.
Tipton dropped to 1-3 on the season and in RVC play with the loss.
West Branch snapped a 12-all tie after the opening quarter outscoring the Tigers 17-6 in the second quarter.
Delaynie Luneckas had nine points, 16 rebounds, six assists and six blocks for the Bears while freshman August Palmer had nine points, seven steals and four assists.
Kylie Pickett added nine points and three steals and Sadie Smith had six points and three rebounds.
Schultes had four rebounds and five steals and Alyse Klinkkammer had four steals for West Branch.
