Regina didn’t have much time to dwell on its first loss of the season and the Regals didn’t waste any time bouncing back from its non-conference setback against the Mustangs on Monday.

Regina outscored Mid-Prairie 11-2 in overtime on its way to a 55-46 win over the Golden Hawks on Tuesday in a River Valley Conference South Division showdown in Wellman.

Alli Clark led Regina with 13 points while Lily Simpson recorded her third double-double in four games finishing with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Grace Gaarde added 11 points as Regina improved to 3-1 on the season and 3-0 in RVC play.

Mid-Prairie dropped to 2-2 on the season and in RVC play.
