Williamsburg defeated Solon 45-30 in a season-opening WAMC cross-divisional dual on Thursday in Solon.

Lawson Sinnwell, Jordan Schmidt, Jakobe Lahr, Lucas Kampman, Tyler Hancox and Gage Marty all earned wins for the Spartans.

Sinnwell, Lahr, Hancox and Marty all posted first-period pins while Kampman and Schmidt won by decision.
