Girls Basketball Roundup: West Branch Improves to 2-0 With Road Win at Northeast

Delaynie Luneckas posted her second double-double in as many games as West Branch improved to 2-0 on the season with a 57-36 win at Northeast on Friday in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional contest in Goose Lake.
Luneckas had 21 points, 11 rebounds, six blocks, six assists and four steals as West Branch improved to 2-0 in RVC play.
Northeast dropped to 1-2 on the season and in RVC play with the loss.
August Palmer scored a team-high 23 points, grabbed eight rebounds and had six assists for West Branch while Avery Schultes and Kylie Pickett each had five points.
Schultes had four rebounds and three steals and Alyse Klinkkammer had five assists for the Bears.
