Four players scored in double figures as Regina opened the season with a 58-28 win over Tipton in a River Valley Conference South Division contest in Tipton.

Lily Simpson was one steal away from a triple-double, scoring a team-high 16 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and adding nine steals to lead the Regals.

Alli Clark scored 13 points off the bench while Grace Gaarde had 12 points and five steals and freshman Morgan Miller had 10 points, five assists and four steals in her prep debut.

Regina led 31-13 at the half.

Tipton dropped to 1-1 on the season with the loss.
